Khan, The Mentor

Synopsis:

Mohammed Khan is one of the symbols of Arab cinema, who left a great impact in the art scene and the history of Arab cinema, and in their students and lovers. Not only through his films but also because of his unique personality. Through a journey of friendship and work spanning 28 years between them, director Ahmed Rashwan reveals to one of his students about the details and his entry into Khan’s world because of his passion for cinema and then works with him as an assistant director. Rashwan paints through a research trip interspersed with their joint stations and meetings with many filmmakers and associates close to him, a different scene of Khan’s trip and struggle, which led to the release of 24 feature films before his sudden death in July 2016
